It is my goal that when you look at your photos you will remember every detail of your day, big or small, planned or candid in a way that brings you right back to that moment.
My signature package is designed specifically for brides who value the small details of their day, value being able to be fully present on their wedding day and value being able to celebrate and dance the night away with friends and family all while making life-long lasting memories. I want to give this to you without giving up any precious moments being captured.
A little about me. I love all things pink, a good cup of coffee, obsessed with traveling the world and nothing fuels my soul more than photography. I live for capturing those precious moments that are candid and evoke emotion in a single photograph that last a life time. My goal is to capture the true essence of who you are effortlessly while giving you an enjoyable photography experience.
When I'm not behind my camera, you can find me spending time with my sweet family. I have been blessed with three wonderful boys and the most amazing husband.

THE WINDOW EFFECT
By having just a simple window in the bridal prep area, I am able to create beautiful portraits with soft light. I prefer natural light so the more windows, the better!
WHAT TO BRING ~ dress, veil / hair pieces, rings (all three), shoes, bouquet, jewelry, perfume & invitation suite
The whole day begins with the DETAILS! This is one of my favourite parts of the wedding day, because it allows me to prepare and get my creative side warmed up for the rest of the day! I photograph a bride’s details in a way that matches and showcases the style of the entire wedding day. So, in some ways, the details set the stage for the look of the whole wedding and I love having ample time to stylize, and shoot everything from the dress, to the jewelry, to grandma’s handkerchief ! I ask brides to gather any details they have before I arrive so that I can walk in, say hello, give you a big hug and then begin with all the goodies!
HAIR & MAKEUP
I encourage brides to have at least their makeup done before I start because who wants a ton of shots without their makeup on?! Nobody.
HAVE YOUR FLORIST DROP OFF EARLY
Ensure your florist is able to drop off the bouquet and extra florals for flatlays early. I capture all of your details while you’re having your hair and makeup done but I can’t do it without your bouquet and extra florals.
GROOMSMEN PREP
Things to include for me to photograph can include boutonniere, tie/bowtie, cufflinks, watch, pocket square, special socks, shoes, flask, etc.

I know some couples are thinking that engagement photos aren’t necessary. They feel they don’t need them, or it’s an extra expense that they don’t need spend money on or simply just don’t like being in front of the camera.
This is why this topic deserves some attention. There’s more value in an engagement session than is talked about.
THE OPPORTUNITY TO GET TO KNOW YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER BEFORE YOUR BIG DAY
For one, you get to work with your wedding photographer before your big day. Getting to know your wedding photographer, their style, their ability to get you comfortable in front of the camera and their personality is pretty important. Let’s face it, you’ll be spending more time with your photographer on your wedding day than your soon-to-be husband. So, if you vibe with them more like an old friend that’s pretty amazing.
You want a photographer that can do so much more than deliver beautiful images. You want a photographer that understands the importance of capturing all the in-between moments, the moments that can go unnoticed. You want a photographer that can make you feel comfortable and be there for emotional support through those moments on your wedding day.
A GREAT EXCUSE TO DRESS UP
Treating your engagement photos like a date is honestly so much fun. Dressing up, getting your favourite outfits together and making reservations for dinner after your photoshoot is highly recommended.
THE PERFECT OPPORTUNITY TO GET COMFORTABLE IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA
Coming from experience of being behind the camera and in front of the camera, I can say this is really important. I know it may sound crazy but this will actually ease the anxiety and awkwardness altogether.
Engagement sessions are more relaxed and are meant to be fun. You will also know what to expect from your photographer so that on your wedding you can just focus on your special day. Posing is meant to be effortless, so being comfortable in front of the camera will let your personalities come through so much easier. So, you can look at your engagement photos as a practice run.
Christmas tree farms are truly the best way to start off the Holiday season. There’s nothing like a family tradition of cutting down your own Christmas tree, picking up a fresh made Christmas wreath and sipping on hot apple cider while you shop for Christmas tree ornaments.
This family session was one my favourites to date because I’ve always wanted to capture moments like these with fresh snow falling on the ground. This sweet family braved the cold and every photo is so magical. The snow truly made our session festive and I don’t think I want to do another tree farm session any other way.
I had the pleasure of photographing one of the two sweetest people I have ever met. Their wedding was filled with emotions, tears of happiness and so much love you could burst. My passion for photographing weddings is so much more than taking photos, but more so it is the friendships I’m so lucky to gain, the connections I make with the people I meet that keeps me doing what I love. Katerina & Derwin’s wedding was one to remember; timeless, elegant and so romantic.
Although, 2020 has been a difficult year, Katerina and Derwin didn’t let this deter them from having the most beautiful and intimate wedding with their closest family and friends.
They chose a french inspired theme with a hint of Gatsby and it was absolutely beautiful. Graydon Hall Manor was the perfect venue to make their vision come to life. Everything was done with elegance and planned to perfection by the talented wedding planner, Lexy Marie Weddings and Events.
