Romantic Engagement Session at Guildwood Park | Scarborough, Ontario
Amy and Jorel have the sweetest love story. They first met in university through a mutual friend. They’re both Christian and Amy was volunteering at her Christian Fellowship group’s event on campus. A mutual friend had stopped Jorel on his way home letting him know about this event and asked Jorel to attend. She then introduced Jorel to Amy. They ended up sitting next to each other and chatted the night away. They both definitely knew that there was something special about the connection they shared that night. Afterwards, their paths crossed a few times and while there was many opportunities for them to connect romantically, it wasn’t quite the right time until a year later when Amy casually messaged Jorel as they did speak occasionally. The stars must have aligned that night because this time their timing was just right. Since that day they never stopped talking – quite literally. When they finally made their relationship official, they knew they couldn’t let this connection slip away from them again. From there embarked a journey of learning each other’s cultures, meeting their families, and becoming a unit rather than two individuals. And they couldn’t be happier to announce their engagement!
After spending a couple of hours with them this past summer at their engagement session, I can attest that they couldn’t be more perfect for each other. They’re one of the sweetest, genuine, and caring people I’ve met. It was such a pleasure capturing these beautiful images of them. Documenting their love was effortless as every photo of them showcases their love for one another.
Guildwood Park was such a romantic location to document their engagement photos. The scenery was breath-taking; with stunning architecture, blooming gardens and the perfect golden hour.
I would like to express my sincerest congratulations to Amy and Jorel; wishing you both nothing but endless love and happiness as you begin the journey of husband and wife on June 6, 2020.
